The University of Heidelberg is well-entrenched in the international academic community through numerous bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements on the university, faculty or institute levels in research, teaching and scholastics.

In addition to information on existing cooperation agreements, the International Relations Office provides advising and support for the initializing and formalizing of international agreements, the planning of international programme the execution of mobility programmes and the support of international visiting scholars and on issues surrounding funding.
