Information for DAAD scholarship holders

The DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) has informed you that you will receive a scholarship to participate in the International Summer School at Heidelberg University in August 2024? Congratulations! A place has been reserved for you.

As soon as the DAAD tells us the names and addresses of the scholarship holders, we will send you an e-mail with a link for registration and accommodation. As soon as you return the completed form, you will be sent a registration confirmation, lots of further information and, in case you need it, a document for visa application.

Please note that you may receive your scholarship information from DAAD considerably sooner than we do. Therefore, thanks in advance for your patience! Please do not send any forms before we contact you by e-mail!

The course fee is covered by your scholarship. You will receive the rest of your scholarship when you arrive in Heidelberg (cashier will be open from July 30). Example: The DAAD grants a scholarship of 1.000 Euro. The course fee is 820 Euro and will be kept by us. The remaining 180 Euro will be paid out upon your arrival.

You can use the scholarship to pay the rent, for example. The rent is to be paid upon arrival in Heidelberg (also not before August 2) at the Summer School cashier.

Please do not make any bank transfers to the International Summer School!
